Hi! I’m Marcia. Let me introduce myself:

About me:
I love music. I love being a collaborative pianist, teaching piano, listening to fine choral music and learning to conduct. I also love nature, especially trees, clouds and sunsets.

About my family:
My family’s life took an unusual and challenging change of direction years back. As we were in the process of raising six children, my husband and I suddenly added five nieces and nephews to our family. They came to live with us after having been in an accident where their parents lost their lives. As you can imagine, the family experienced a wide gamut of intense emotions that deeply affected all of our lives. We spent a lot of time listening and learning.

Now that the children are grown, I have learned that processing trauma probably takes a life time. But we are all finding joy and they are bringing a bundle of grandchildren into our lives to love and treasure.

Raising our children and adding more children with emotional and physical wounds, nurtured a tender spot in me for the joy and demands of children. It opened my awareness of the suffering that others could silently be going through. It created a compassion for their parents and the challenges they face. I have a great desire that anyone experiencing depression, rejection, abandonment, overwhelm, trauma, or grief of any kind can find relief.

So, now is my time to sit with others in whatever their heart needs as others have done and continue to do for me.

I invite you to reach out if you would like help in the process of discovering and releasing any unwanted or unhelpful emotions and finding compassion for yourself. ❤️
